Puppy Kindergarten
These classes are an important foundation to avoid potential behavior problems.
The primary goal being socialization and introducing puppies to formal obedience
training in a positive manner. PK(sm) for small breed
puppies up to 6 months, PK(lg) for large breed puppies
& PK(all) up to 4 1/2 months.
Basic Elementary
Motivational on-lead classes help you teach your dog the following commands: SIT, STAY, DOWN, HEEL, COME and STAND. For dogs 6 months and
older.
New Class now offered - Out in the Real World
5 weeks. $110.00. Limit 8
This course will consist of weekly "field trips" to different public locations with our dogs. It's a great opportunity to "proof" your dog's obedience skills with Real World distractions. We will be visiting dog friendly towns with venues where we can "sit and stay" while our dogs do the same! Softball games, trips to dog friendly retailers, etc., etc. This 5 week course is $110.00 and is limited to 8 teams. All participants must be at an Intermediate Level of obedience to attend. Dogs must bring owners all 5 weeks. No theory.
Accelerated Basic Elementary (Semi-private - Limit 4) $130.00
For truly motivated individuals, this basic class runs for only 3 sessions.
Prep-school (Intermediate) & Collegiate (Advanced) Obedience
For those who wish to continue training after completing Basic Elementary.
Working toward the ultimate goal of off-leash work, these classes will entail a
lot of distraction work. Pre-requisite: Basic Elementary for Prep-school and dogs
that are ready to begin off-leash work for Collegiate.
Agility Classes (Privates
Lessons also available)
Learn the principals of Agility. For dogs who have a firm grasp on basic obedience
and are very social.
Kids Take The Lead!
A 4 week course for kids 8-15 who have their own dog or are thinking about
getting a dog. This course will cover choosing a dog, caring for a dog, responsible
dog ownership as well as handling and training techniques. DO NOT BRING A DOG TO
CLASS. Adults may stay for the hour, but it is not necessary. This course
is $60.00.
Private Lessons/Behavior Consultations
Meet with a trainer for individual lessons or to address specific behavior
problems.
New Class now offered - Basic Manners Course
This course is designed to address the behaviors we are asked to help with the most!
Leash Walking, Door Dashing, Greeting Guests, Counter Surfing, and Jumping.
The five week course is limited to 8 teams and costs only $110.
Dogs must bring their owners all five weeks. There is no Theory Class.
New Class now offered - Variety Course
Variety class will sample different aspects of training. A new topic will be
sampled each week. The curriculum can include the following (but not limited to)
Manners, Agility, Flyball, Rally 0, Tricks and more. Class will run for 7 weeks
and there will be no theory class. Dogs must have completed a basic elementary
course.
Resident Training (
Intensive three week training program teaching the six basic commands. Includes
three private lessons with the owner.
Canine Good Citizen Course
A course designed to help your team pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen test.
At course completion, you will test for the CGC, which is included in the cost.
For dogs have completed at least one intermediate level course.
